Accountek Brings Leading Mac Accounting Solution to the 2012 New York XPO for Business

 April 23, 2012 (Toronto, ON) – Accountek Solutions Inc., a leading provider of business solutions for small to mid-sized businesses, announced today that it plans to participate in the New York XPO for Business trade show scheduled for May 2nd and 3rd at the Javits Center, New York City.

The 7th edition of this annual gathering of 10,000+ executives will provide Accountek the opportunity to present the latest features that focus on access to information and improving collaboration between teams, now available in their Connected Accounting & ERP software.

“We are excited to be located in the i.Business Pavillion, targeted for Macintosh business solutions.  However we know there will be a large number of PC-based business leaders attending who are interested in running their businesses on a Mac,” says Scott Archer, Director of Product Development. “Connected is a great option for businesses who want to improve collaboration since the accounting solution is Mac and PC and performs seamless in a cross platform environment.”

Some of the advancements in the latest release of Connected Accounting & ERP, version 7.0, that were designed to improve access to information include:

  • The ability to add an unlimited number of attachments, of any type and any size, to any screen in Connected, using the Notes function. Customers have the flexibility to organize all of their electronic documents in a centralized system, in a way that suits their needs best.  
  • New ledger screens for customer orders, vendor purchase orders, and manufacture/work orders. Each screen allows custom columns and settings to be selected, by user. Front line staff can now easily track open and/or completed orders, drill down to an order and take action immediately to resolve customer, vendor or production issues, all from one screen.
  • The new advanced search window allows users to access inventory information using ‘Starts With’, ‘Contains’ or ‘Equals’ queries, gaining visibility to multiple fields at once. The ability to customize and sort the results has also been included.

The Accountek team will also be providing an advance look at planned new features for the next major release of Connected Accounting & ERP.
